NEXT-DAY SERVICE • PRE-BOOKED DROP-OFF
Don't lose your guitar for days just because it needs fresh strings. Reserve one of only 4 Express Restring places available each day, drop your instrument off at your booked time and we'll take care of the restring the following morning.

Reserve one of the four available daily drop-off appointments and pay for the service when booking.
Bring your instrument to AGS at your selected drop-off time. Instrument details, tuning and string gauge are collected during booking.
We restring, lightly clean, stretch and tune the strings, check the hardware and carry out a basic playability check.
Your instrument is ready for collection after 4pm the following day.

STRINGS
AGS stocks a range of Ernie Ball strings and gauges for electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass. You're also welcome to supply your own preferred set. Strings are charged separately from the service price.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
Bookings are limited to four guitars per day. Once those places are taken, that day's availability closes.
Payment is required in full when booking. Your payment reserves one of the limited daily places.
Your selected appointment is your drop-off time. The restring work is carried out the following morning.
Additional work requires approval. Setup, repairs or parts identified during the restring will be discussed with you before anything additional is done.
Late cancellations may forfeit payment. Bookings changed or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may forfeit the reserved service payment.
Collection is after 4pm the following day. We'll contact you if anything unexpected affects that time.

A full setup is designed to improve the way your instrument feels, plays and stays in tune. We assess the instrument and make the appropriate mechanical adjustments to suit its condition, string gauge and playing requirements.

If your guitar simply needs fresh strings, an Express Restring may be all that is required. If the action feels wrong, intonation is inaccurate, tuning is unstable or the guitar simply isn't playing as it should, a full setup is usually the better starting point.

ELECTRONICS • HARDWARE • UPGRADES
AGS offers replacement and installation of common guitar electronics and hardware including output jacks, potentiometers, pickups and strap pins. Standard pricing applies where the instrument does not require additional routing, repair or modification.

Removal and desoldering of the existing output jack, installation of the replacement component and basic signal and function testing.
